With Dani Corbalan we anounce another high talented and ambitious artist on Dirty Cat Records. He mixes skilful Electro with House and somewhere in melodies you can hear his Trance past. He knows how to build up a song, how to play with the crowd on the dancefloor. ‘Back from the depths’ is a many-faceted, auspicious ep with tracks from House, Electro-House and Chillout. Dani Corbalan arrives to surprise you again and again and so we are very curious for his next surprising release on Dirty Cat Records.

HipGnosis - “Back From the Depths” by Dani Corbalan is a very well-produced release, with great mi-xing/mastering on all tracks. “Guivosa” has a classic house vibe. Excellent builds and pacing on “Zombie,” very DJ-friendly. “Don’t Break It” could easily fit in DJ sets in multiple genres, from Goth/EBM clubs to deep techno late-night sessions. Ending with a surprisingly mellow treat, “To My Dad” is a highlight for me. It is a beautiful closing piece. It really showcases the variety of influences informing Dani’s music, and shows a level of proficiency in different realms of electronica.
